Based in Monaco, Alex is the founder of Krainer Analytics and creator of I-System Trend Following. As a market analyst, researcher, speaker, trader and hedge-fund manager, he has authored several books on finance and commodities trading. By 2007 his investment management business had generated positive returns through the 2008 financial crisis, and his fund outperformed the Dow Jones Credit Suisse Index of Blue-Chip commodity futures trading funds.
